Vetera® vaccines offer customized protection against a multitude of the most current equine diseases for all horses, including those as young as 4 months of age and broodmares, with a variety of combinations to fit your horse’s needs.
Vetera® vaccines use Ultrafil® Purification Technology, which filters out extraneous proteins and helps minimize injection-site reactions. Vetera® vaccines also contain Carbimmune® to optimize vaccine performance and minimize reactions.
Vetera® XP vaccines
Unsurpassed Flu protection for at least 6 months
Vetera® XP is proven to protect horses from the most relevant strains of Equine Influenza, including Richmond/07 (Clade 2), Ohio/03 (Clade 1), and Kentucky/95, and follows the recommendations of the Expert Surveillance Panel on Equine Influenza Vaccine Composition.

Calvenza® EIV/EHV
Calvenza® EIV/EHV has demonstrated safety and efficacy to protect against Equine Influenza and rhinopneumonitis in horses as young as 6 months of age or older, including pregnant mares. Calvenza® vaccines offer flexible intranasal or instramuscular administration.
Potomavac™ vaccines
Potomavac™ delivers proven protection from Potomac Horse Fever (PHF). It is the only PHF vaccine available in Canada and is clinically proven to be effective and safe in horses as young as 3 months of age.
Imrab® vaccines
Imrab® vaccines offer proven protection against the rabies virus, for at least 12 months in horses, combining a rapid onset of immunity and potency that exceeds World Health Organization standards. Imrab® is safe for use in horses as young as three months of age and more than 400 million doses of Imrab® have been administered worldwide.
Strepvax™ II vaccine
Strepvax™ II provides proven protection against Strangles. It is the only killed vaccine to help protect against infection with Streptococcus equi, the bacteria that causes Strangles. Strepvax™ II can be administered in the same veterinary visit as other vaccines and is well tolerated by most horses.
